Assignment Overview

    Description

    American Traveler is seeking an LPN for a long-term care/skilled nursing facility, requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS certification.

    Details

  • Long-term care/skilled nursing facility with 42 beds
  • Patient population includes long-term care, memory care, dementia, and orthopedic cases with no current behavioral risks
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2 nurses during days/evenings and 1 nurse overnight
  • Uses Point Click Care (PCC) as the charting system
  • Shifts include Day (6a-2p/6a-6p) and Evening (2p-10p), a combination of 8- and 12-hour shifts
  • Requires every other weekend and every other holiday coverage
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week with overtime availability

    Requirements

  • Active LPN license required if applicable
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Point Click Care (PCC) EMR experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license required for consideration
  • Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility

    Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care in a post-acute, long-term care setting
  • Location-specific orientation covering building layout and lift equipment, approximately 2-4 hours
  • No on-call or call-back requirements
  • Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
  • 80-mile radius rule applies for travel rate eligibility
