Wakefield Health Care Center is seeking CNAs for Day Shift and Evening Shift to meet the needs of our growing census!
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a C.N.A (Certified Nursing Assistant) to become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team. The C.N.A will provide direct care to our residents. They will be responsible for assisting with all activities of daily living, documentation, and reporting of incidents to the charge nurse. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a resident advocate and to be a valuable link between the nurses and the residents.
Job Requirements:
Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Must be currently listed on the State of Nebraska'a C.N.A Registry
Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in a legible and understandable manner.
Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities:
Answer resident call lights promptly.
Assist and/or perform activities of daily living with residents.
Follow all facility policies and procedures for resident cares.
Treat all residents fairly, and with kindness, dignity, and respect.
Communicate with charge nurse any changes in resident during the shift.
The wage is based on experience with a starting base rate of $17.00 per hour. We do offer evening, nights, and weekend shift differential as well as a uniform allowance. We offer health, dental, vision, life and short term/long term disability insurances for FT employees.
