About This Position
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical & Telemetry Unit for an upcoming 13-week assignment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical-surgical nursing, with experience in telemetry monitoring, critical care procedures, and comprehensive patient assessments. Assignment Details
MS/MSTELE, TELEneeds nationwide
Contract lengths: 8–13 weeks with high extension potential
Day or night shift depending on facility
Typical patient ratios follow state/facility guidelines
EMRs vary (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.)
Core Responsibilities
Provide safe and effective care to adult MedSurg/MS-Tele patient populations
Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythms, and escalate concerns appropriately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
Maintain compliance with facility protocols and traveler expectations
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg or MS/Tele RN experience (within the last 18 months)
Active RN license in the U.S. (state-specific license required before start)
AHA BLS required; ACLS may be required depending on facility
Must be able to pass compliance, credentialing, and background checks
Previous travel experience preferred but not required
Preferred Qualifications
Prior travel nursing experience
Experience in fast-paced or high-acuity step-down settings
Familiarity with multiple EMR systems

Do you have at least 1 year of consistent recent experience in a hospital Medical Surgical, or Medical Telemetry unit? If not you will not qualify and should not apply. School nurses, Long term care, skilled nursing, Case Managers will not qualify for this position
How many miles can you travel outside of your tax home base? We are looking for travel nurses who can be flexible. If you are in FL, TX, or NV, and can't travel outside of your state you should not apply. We will not be the best resource for you.
