Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Hours: 48–60 hours per two-week pay period (approximately 24–30 hours per week)
Shift: Primarily nights/rotating shifts
Reports To: Director of Obstetrical Unit
Job Summary
We are seeking a new grads or qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery setting.
This opportunity may be well suited for nurses with **Labor & Delivery (L&D), Obstetrics (OB), and/or Medical/Surgical experience**. The position involves working in a cross-trained OB/Med-Surg environment and providing safe, high-quality patient care.
**New graduates and experienced RNs are welcome to apply.**
Responsibilities
* Provide nursing care to patients in the Obstetrical Unit and Med/Surg setting.
* Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
* Administer medications and treatments according to established procedures.
* Provide care and support to obstetrical patients.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
* Follow established patient safety, infection control, and nursing procedures.
* Participate in required cross-training between OB and Med/Surg.
* Provide compassionate patient and family education and support.
Requirements
* Current **Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or willing to relocate
* **BLS certification required.**
* **1 year of Medical/Surgical experience preferred.**
* **ACLS certification preferred.**
* **NRP certification required within the first 6 months of employment.**
* New graduates are welcome to apply.
* Previous **L&D/OB experience is highly relevant** to this opportunity.
* Ability to work in a cross-trained OB/Med-Surg environment.

Compensation
