Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the appropriate care team members.
- Support safe, organized care in the Labor & Delivery setting.
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth experience.
- Document patient care accurately and follow applicable clinical procedures.
