About the Role
We are a busy, patient-focused dermatology clinic seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in our Fremont location. This part-time position offers approximately 20-25 hours per week in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential. Dermatology experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Room patients and assist providers to ensure efficient, thorough patient visits
Accurately enter and update patient information in the EMR system
Provide patient education, including verbal instructions, medication guidance, and answering questions
Complete and manage prior authorizations for medications, treatments, and procedures as needed
Coordinate biologic medication starts, including assisting with authorization, enrollment, patient communication, and coordination with specialty pharmacies and providers
Perform basic laboratory procedures, prepare and document lab and pathology work
Communicate test results to patients as directed
Prepare and maintain exam rooms for patient visits and procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment
Collaborate with providers and staff to support smooth daily clinic operations
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing or medical assisting program
Current certification in the state of Nebraska (CMA, MA, or LPN) preferred
Dermatology clinic experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with EMR systems (Modernizing Medicine/EMA preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
Commitment to ongoing learning and participation in continuing education
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
