About This Position
Good opportunity for a new or experienced Licensed Practical Nurse interested in a progressive Medical Clinic with experienced Providers! You will be working one-on-one in a fast-paced environment and making a difference for patients. This position is open for Full-time applicants
Roles and responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Perform patient care services including admission interview, assessment, accurate documentation, injections, etc. Maintain patient flow throughout their visit.
Ensure patient is appropriately prepared for the care encounter. Obtain information, including medical records, pertinent to the patients’ care.
Document patient records as described by the physician.
Triage patient care to ensure priority is provided to patients in an emergency situation as well as patient telephone calls under the direct supervision of the physician. Receives and responds to incoming calls as appropriate.
Assists physician with exams, treatments, procedures and testing as directed.
Provides patient and family education pertaining to healthcare management, disease process, treatment, tests, medication and follow-up under direct supervision of the physician. Maintain and update the patient education materials and consent forms.
Administer prescribed injections, start and administer IV’s, as ordered by the healthcare provider, in accordance with practice policy and procedure.
Maintain updated knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding. Submit charges to billing department.
Perform phlebotomy procedures. Communicate results to the patient as ordered by the physician.
Prepare clinic rooms for daily patient care and between patients. Responsible for sterilization and restocking instruments.

Pay: $22.00 - $33.32 per hour
