WHAT MAKES THIS POSITION SPECIAL?
As our RN manager you will have the opportunity to:
Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
Lead, support, and mentor an amazing care team
Help create individualized care plans that allow residents to remain as independent as possible

YOUR ROLE
Our RN Manager plays an important role in both clinical care and team leadership.
Responsibilities include:
Assessing residents and developing individualized plans of care
Monitoring residents' conditions, medications, treatments, and overall well-being
Completing monthly nursing assessments and required clinical documentation
Assisting with admissions and annual/quarterly reviews
Communicating regularly with residents, families, physicians, county case managers, MCOs, and other healthcare professionals
Monitoring medication passes and completing monthly medication cart audits
Supporting medication management, including receiving, checking, and properly destroying medications when needed
Monitoring staff documentation and providing coaching when expectations are not met
Training and mentoring employees
Assigning and delegating work appropriately
Monitoring employee competencies and providing feedback
Addressing concerns and helping resolve employee or resident issues
Communicating resident care needs with our Cook, Activity Director, and care team
Participating in quarterly team meetings and required emergency/fire drills
Coordinating quarterly podiatry visits and maintaining appropriate documentation
Administering TB testing/injections as needed
Completing required billing and administrative responsibilities
Supporting the Administrator with building and resident needs

An active nursing license appropriate for the position
Strong clinical and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

A genuine passion for working with older adults
