Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing
Current BLS certification
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
Monitor, record, and report patient symptoms, progress, and vital signs
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate patients and families on diagnoses and self-care after discharge
Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Uphold infection control protocols and hospital standards
