Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day Shift
LTC Facility in Canistota, South Dakota is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent, full-time day shift position. This opportunity offers competitive compensation, a $30,000 sign-on bonus, a $2.50/hour location premium, additional weekend differential, and the chance to provide individualized, resident-centered care within a supportive long-term care environment.

6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
36 scheduled hours per week
Every other weekend required
Holiday rotation required
Compensation & Incentives
Hourly range: $34.00 – $48.00 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
Provide individualized nursing care utilizing the nursing process
Perform resident assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
Collaborate with residents, families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams
Coordinate resident care and provide resident and family education
Administer treatments and nursing interventions according to established standards
Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel
Support safe, effective, and compassionate resident care delivery
Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in clinical status
Maintain compliance with nursing standards, policies, and regulations
Function within the Nurse Practice Act and professional nursing standards
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or multistate compact licensure
Ability to maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
