    Description

    American Traveler is hiring a Neuro Tele RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and welcoming first-time travelers.

    Details

  • Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a short-term acute care hospital with 379 staffed beds
  • Neuro telemetry patient population
  • Patient ratio of 1:4
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00)
  • Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
  • Floating required between units and between facilities within the state
  • No on-call responsibilities

    Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • 2 years of recent experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required

    Additional Information

  • Provide telemetry nursing care to neuro patients within a Level II Trauma Center
  • Dress code requires solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire for licensed nursing personnel
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
  • Minimal time-off requests accommodated during the assignment
