American Traveler is hiring a PICU RN for a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center requiring PICU experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Work in the Pediatric ICU of a children's hospital that serves as a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
Patient ratio of 1:2
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
Self-scheduling required with 3 consecutive or split 12-hour shifts per week
Variable weekend requirement
Float requirement to Pediatric Med/Surg and NICU units
No on-call responsibilities
Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
PICU experience required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Epic EMR experience required
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Navy scrub color required for RNs
Free parking available in any unrestricted space with bike racks available
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state system
