Registered Nurse (RN) STAR PRN UMC Health System Lubbock, Texas The STAR Center has identified its scope of care to include pre-anesthesia care; specifically, to 1) prepare the patient for surgery/procedure by assessing and evaluating his/her physical status via nursing assessment, 2) by providing preoperative or pre-procedure teaching/education, 3) to complete pre-surgical testing and registration.
