Registered Nurse (RN) | Bremerton Trails Post Acute | $45–$60/hr | NOC Shift

Join the nursing team at Bremerton Trails Post Acute, where your clinical skill and leadership directly shape the quality of care our residents receive. We're hiring an RN to administer treatments, guide day-to-day nursing care, and support both residents and staff in a facility that values thorough, compassionate care.

What You'll Do

  • Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy

  • Assess resident response to medications, promptly notifying physicians of any adverse effects

  • Communicate medication/treatment plans, new orders, and potential side effects clearly to residents and families

  • Ensure proper storage, security, and disposal of medications, biologicals, and sharps

  • Keep medication carts, rooms, and refrigeration in compliance with facility standards

  • Support the Charge Nurse with condition-change assessments, physician/family notifications, admissions, discharges, transfers, progress notes, MDS assessments, and care plans

  • Help orient and train new nursing staff

  • Implement and supervise infection control, universal precautions, and safety policies

  • Participate in the Quality Assurance Program and respond to audit findings with corrective action

  • Assist with physician rounds, resident/family education, and dining program oversight as needed

  • Respond effectively to emergencies and disaster situations

    Why Work Here

  • Take on real responsibility across the full scope of nursing care - from hands-on treatment to mentoring new staff

  • Work in a facility that supports ongoing learning in geriatric nursing and regulatory best practices

  • Be part of a team where your clinical judgment and follow-through are trusted and valued

    What You'll Need

  • Active, unrestricted RN license

  • Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and geriatric nursing practices

  • Clear, effective communication skills with residents, families, physicians, and staff

  • Ability to supervise and mentor nursing staff

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with assistance)

Is this role right for you? If you want a role where you're trusted to lead - supporting your team, catching issues before they escalate, and being a steady clinical presence for residents and families - this is that role.

Apply today and bring your leadership and clinical expertise to a team that will rely on it.

Bremerton Trails Post Acute is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
