A great healthcare facility located near Lubbock, Texas is seeking a full-time Director of Case Management to join their team. Details are below.
Starting Pay: $120,000/Year
Director of Case Management Opportunity:
Director of Case Management plans, directs, implements and monitors hospital-wide efforts to ensure appropriate level of care and psychosocial interventions
Serves as a liaison for the hospital with medical staff, hospital departments and services, regulator and extra review agencies, third party payers, financial services and community health and welfare services
Hires, trains, and supervises case managers and support staff
Director of Case Management makes sure patients transition safely from the hospital to home or another facility
Creates and upholds department policies that follow healthcare laws and hospital standards
Manages budgets and ensures treatments use resources efficiently
Reviews reports and patient data to fix problems and improve quality of care
Director of Case Management Qualifications:
Licensed RN in TX or compact state
Certification as a Case Manager preferred
Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in a hospital setting as a case manager with utilization review experience
Prior supervisory experience highly preferred
