About This Position

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING (ADON) – RNFull-Time Days | 44-Bed Short-Term Rehabilitation

Lead with purpose. Be present. Grow your career. Make a difference.

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) ready to take the next step into nursing leadership? Or are you a confident clinical RN looking for the right opportunity to grow?

Old Mill Rehabilitation offers something different.

We’re a 44-bed short-term rehabilitation community where leadership is hands-on, teamwork is genuine, and your presence matters. Our leaders don’t lead from behind a desk—they work alongside the nursing team, teach in the moment, support staff through challenges, and stay connected to the patients we serve.

If you want a leadership role where you can actually make an impact every day, we’d love to meet you.

WHY OLD MILL?

Great patient care starts with a great nursing team.

At Old Mill, you’ll find:

  • Administration that listens to your ideas and experience
  • A team that works together—not in silos

    YOUR ROLE AS ADON

  • Work side by side with floor staff to understand challenges and identify solutions
  • Coach, teach, and build confidence in your nursing team
  • Assist with clinical oversight, assessments, and care coordination
  • Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
  • Promote patient safety, dignity, and individualized care
  • Support regulatory compliance and facility policies
  • Identify opportunities for staff education, training, and process improvement
  • Help create a positive environment where nurses can succeed

WE’RE LOOKING FOR A LEADER WHO...

Leads by example. Builds trust. Supports their team.

You’ll thrive at Old Mill if you are:

  • A licensed RN in Nebraska
  • Clinically confident and accountable
  • Approachable and comfortable communicating with staff, patients, and families
  • Passionate about teaching and mentoring others
  • Organized and able to help manage competing priorities
  • Ready to grow your leadership skills

Leadership experience is valued—but it isn’t everything.

If you’re a strong clinical RN who is ready to take the next step, we’re willing to support, mentor, and develop you into the leader you want to become.
