Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective nursing care to patients in an ICU/telemetry setting.
- Monitor patient condition, recognize changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
- Administer medications and therapies according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with the care team and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Support emergency response and promote patient safety throughout the assignment.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse licensure appropriate for the assignment.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Experience with Cerner charting preferred.
- Care of ventilated patients.
- Continuous IV sedation.
- Procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
- ICP monitoring required.
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Management of dysrhythmias.
- Starting and maintaining IVs.

- Two years of nursing experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered when they demonstrate strong relevant experience.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
- Trauma Level I experience preferred.
