About This Position
Job Summary
GSS SD Canistota Ctr is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care and daily living support to residents in a long-term care setting. The successful candidate will help residents maintain their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence while supporting their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and undressing.
Monitor and record residents’ vital signs as required.
Provide emotional and psychosocial support while promoting resident dignity and comfort.
Assist residents with meals, snacks, hydration, and nutritional supplements as appropriate.
Support residents with transfers, repositioning, walking, and mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
Assist with range-of-motion activities and passive exercises as directed.
Document resident care, behaviors, and observations accurately in the electronic medical record.
Handle and dispose of soiled linens, clothing, and supplies according to facility procedures.
Follow hand hygiene, infection prevention, and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
Comply with applicable laws, regulations, organizational policies, and resident care standards.
Pay: $18.50 - $25.50 per hour
