Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians specializing in infectious disease care, geriatrics, or primary care to optimize patient outcomes.

Stay current with evolving travel medicine guidelines and public health advisories to provide accurate information.

Experience

Proven nursing experience in diverse settings such as medical office environments, urgent care clinics, or hospital-based outpatient departments.

Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Cerner or Athenahealth for documentation and data management.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special healthcare needs is highly desirable.

Background in infection control practices, immunization administration, and specimen collection is essential.

Prior exposure to travel medicine or public health initiatives is advantageous.

Critical care experience such as ICU or emergency room settings enhances the ability to manage acute situations effectively.

Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and laboratory procedures supports comprehensive patient assessments.

Familiarity with occupational health protocols and Workers' Compensation law is beneficial for managing work-related travel health concerns.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of patient care across diverse populations.
