Description

American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a long-term care/skilled nursing facility, requiring 1+ year of experience and BLS certification.

Details

Post-acute long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting with 55 beds

Patient population includes elderly residents with dementia and a behavioral health program serving patients with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and paranoia

Nurse-to-patient ratio is approximately 1:45 overnight and 1:23 during the day, with a med aide present from 6am-10pm

Uses Point Click Care (PCC) EMR system

12-hour day shift block scheduling

Every other weekend required

Holiday coverage required if it falls within the scheduled block

No on-call or call-back requirements

Requirements

License required if applicable

Minimum 1 year of experience required

Current BLS certification required

Driver's license required for consideration

Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
