About This Position
Take on a 13-week travel Registered Nurse contract in Seattle, WA, providing care in a pediatric intensive care setting on a night schedule.
Position Details

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in an intensive care setting.
- Assess patient needs, monitor clinical status, and document care.
- Coordinate care with the healthcare team and respond to changing patient needs.
Requirements
- Certifications: BLS, NRP (required), and PALS.
- IV therapy and phlebotomy: accessing and managing ports; administering blood and blood products; central and implanted line care; PICC line management; starting and maintaining IVs.
- Respiratory care: BiPAP/CPAP management; care of ventilated patients; chest tube management; tracheostomy care.
- Central venous pressure (CVP) monitoring.
- Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) (required).
- Pediatric dosage calculations and procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
- Wound assessment and care.

Experience
- At least 2 years of experience; candidates with less than 2 years will not be considered.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
- Experience with a 1:2 patient ratio.
- Epic charting experience preferred.
- Travel experience is not required.
