Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment at a nursing home in Hettinger, North Dakota.
This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN with Long-Term Care (LTC), nursing home, or skilled nursing facility experience who is passionate about providing quality patient care and supporting residents with their daily healthcare needs.
The selected candidate will work variable night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, for a total of 36 hours per week. An extension may be available based on facility needs and performance.

Job Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care or nursing home setting.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and within the scope of the LPN license.
Monitor residents’ health conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare provider.
Assist with resident assessments and ongoing care planning.
Document nursing care, medication administration, and changes in resident conditions accurately.
Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, nursing assistants, and other healthcare team members.
Support residents with daily care needs while maintaining their comfort, dignity, and safety.
Follow infection control procedures, facility policies, and applicable nursing standards.
Qualifications
Active and valid LPN license eligible for practice in North Dakota.
Previous experience in long-term care (LTC), nursing homes, or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills.
Ability to work variable night shifts and 12-hour shifts.
