Location: Mitchell, SD 57301
Shift: Days, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Schedule: 5×8-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay: $25–$30/hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide quality care and support to residents in a long-term care setting. In this role, you will assist residents with daily activities, monitor their needs, and work closely with the nursing team to promote safety, comfort, and well-being. CMAs will also assist with medication administration within their authorized scope of practice.
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care, as appropriate to the role.
Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team.
Administer medications according to provider orders and facility protocols, if authorized as a CMA.
Maintain accurate resident care and medication administration records.
Use PointClickCare (PCC) for charting and documentation.
Follow infection control, safety, and long-term care procedures.
Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to support resident needs.
Requirements
Current CNA or CMA certification/license appropriate for the position.
Current BLS certification, if required by the facility.
Medication administration experience for CMA candidates.
Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) charting.
Ability to work the scheduled day shift and 40 hours per week.
