American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a Cardiology Clinic requiring prior clinic and cardiology experience plus BLS certification.
Outpatient cardiology clinic setting within the Heart and Vascular Institute
Patient population includes General Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular Surgery cases
Clinic sees up to 22 patients per day
Supported by an EKG tech, 3 Clinical Assistants (1 per 10 rooms), Lead RN, and Nursing Manager
Uses Epic EMR (required)
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no weekends or on-call requirements
May float only within the Cardiology clinic
LPN license required if applicable
Current BLS certification required
Completion of a board-approved nursing education program
Minimum 1 year of clinic experience required
Cardiology clinic experience required
Epic charting experience required
Orientation includes facility onboarding plus 3-4 days on-unit shadowing with a nurse
Holiday coverage required for 2 of 4 designated holidays, with the day after Thanksgiving counted as a holiday
Contract may be extended to a total of 13 weeks to allow for a full week of approved time off
Navy blue scrubs required

First-time travelers considered if they have any type of clinic experience
Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Former permanent staff must wait a full year before returning as a traveler
