About This Position
We are looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients. The successful candidate will have experience in long term care and psychiatry. Experience with MDS is desired. Previous clinic experience is a plus. The LVN will be able to understand patient care and help triage urgent needs, administer medications, document patient progress, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
We do not see patients in this office. The day to day requirements include: dealing with patient care calls, laboratory results, prior authorizations for insurance companies, and clinical office work. Long term care experience and psychiatric experience preferred. Telephone and computer skills are a must. We serve 4000 plus patients across the state of Texas living in long term care and assisted living communities. Each day is different and the work is important! Responsibilities:
Perform basic nursing care and treatments as ordered by a physician.
Assist in the assessment of patient needs and development of treatment plans.
Document medications as prescribed by a physician.
Monitor lab data and other patient information.
Maintain accurate records of patient care.
Work Prior Authorizations using CoverMyMeds
Extensive use of technology including Gehrimed, Point Click Care, Updox, Microsoft products
Customer service and phone etiquette are a must!
Critical Thinking skills required.
Experience with microsoft products required.
Leadership experience desired.

Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
