ARC ABA Therapy is hiring individuals to provide one-on-one behavioral support to children in the Sioux Falls area.
If you have experience in caregiving, special education (SPED), paraprofessional work, behavioral or mental health, childcare, DSP services, healthcare, or other direct-care roles, we strongly encourage you to apply. No previous ABA experience is required.
Current Scheduling Needs
Our greatest current need is for staff with weekday afternoon and evening availability.
This position will initially begin part-time, with the possibility of growing into full-time employment as additional client hours become available.
ARC is actively onboarding additional morning clients to help expand scheduling opportunities. As new client hours become available, we prioritize offering those hours to existing staff who are interested in growing their schedules.
While we cannot guarantee when full-time hours will become available, our goal is to build schedules as our Sioux Falls caseload continues to grow.
Services may take place in our Sioux Falls clinic, a client's home, daycare, school, or other approved community setting.
What You'll Do
As an RBT, you'll work one-on-one with a child under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll help teach meaningful communication, daily living, social, play, and other individualized skills while implementing the child's treatment plan.
You'll also collect session data, document progress, communicate with your supervising BCBA, and receive ongoing coaching and support.

You do not need to already have your RBT certification to apply.
New Sioux Falls trainees complete a structured 3-week training program at our Sioux Falls clinic.

The full onboarding-to-certification process may take approximately 3-5 weeks. The timeline depends on completion of training requirements, competency assessment completion, application processing, and testing availability.
After completing training, you will move on to your competency assessment. Once the competency and remaining requirements are completed, ARC will help you move forward with your RBT application. After your application is approved, you'll be ready to schedule and complete your certification exam.
ARC reimburses the $65 RBT application fee and the cost of one RBT exam attempt, typically around $47, after you successfully pass your exam.
If you do not pass on your first attempt, we encourage you to prepare and test again. ARC reimburses the cost of one exam attempt.
Already certified? Current RBTs receive a $500 sign-on bonus after 30 business days providing client services with ARC.

Minimum Requirements
We can teach ABA. We're looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, willing to learn, and ready to follow the certification process through from training to exam.
Your job title doesn't have to say "RBT" for your experience to matter. If you've worked in caregiving, education, childcare, behavioral health, healthcare, or another helping profession, we'd love to hear from you.
