Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Night Shift Contract

Job Description

Datawave Technologies is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a short-term contract assignment at Brookefield Park in St. Paul, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will have prior charge nurse experience and a strong commitment to providing safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care and monitor patients' health conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility policies.
  • Document patient assessments, treatments, and changes in condition accurately.
  • Coordinate care with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Perform charge nurse duties, including supporting staff, coordinating assignments, and ensuring quality patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with clinical standards and patient safety protocols.

    Requirements

  • Active LPN license valid in Nebraska.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Previous charge nurse experience is required.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical skills.
  • Availability to work three 12-hour night shifts per week.
