Location: Omaha, NE 68104
Contract: 13 weeks contract with posibility of extension
Shift: 3x12 Mid Shift, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: $40/hr - $45/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a rehabilitation setting in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will support patients with their daily care needs, monitor their health conditions, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to promote recovery, safety, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate is flexible, quick to adapt, and team-oriented, with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered care.
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in a rehabilitation setting.
Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and health conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist patients with activities of daily living and recovery goals.
Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions to the appropriate healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and facility protocols.
Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery procedures.
Support individualized care plans to promote patient comfort, safety, and rehabilitation.
Requirements
Active LPN license eligible for practice in Nebraska.
BLS Cert
Previous nursing experience; rehabilitation or long-term care experience is preferred.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Availability to work every other weekend.
Must be willing to receive the flu vaccine; declinations are not accepted.
Must be available for the interview process, which may include two rounds.
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
