Qualifications
Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Previous pediatric, school-based, public health, or related nursing experience preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care and first aid services to students and staff
Assess and manage student illnesses, injuries, and health concerns
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and district policies
Develop and maintain individualized healthcare plans for students with medical needs
Monitor and maintain accurate health records and documentation
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and healthcare providers to support student wellness
Promote health education and preventative care initiatives
Ensure compliance with school, district, state, and federal health regulations
