Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) – Travel Assignment
Location: Hot Springs, South Dakota 57747
Position Details
Pay: $1,300 Gross Weekly
Taxable Pay: $12.00/hour (W2)
Weekly Stipend: $820 (Non-Taxable, if eligible)
All-Inclusive Rate: $32.50/hour
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Varied Day and Night Shifts
Open Positions: 3
Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year
Certification: Active South Dakota CNA certification required
EMR: PointClickCare
Holiday Coverage: Required
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and personal care.
Answer call lights and assist residents with feeding, toileting, ambulation, positioning, and transfers.
Measure and record vital signs, weights, and food and fluid intake and output.
Collect specimens and assist licensed nurses with treatments and procedures as needed.
Monitor residents for changes in physical or mental condition and report concerns to the RN or LPN.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and work areas.
Follow infection control, safety, confidentiality, and facility policies.
Provide compassionate care while maintaining resident privacy, dignity, and respect.
Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure quality resident care.
Qualifications
Active CNA certification through the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
At least one year of CNA experience.
Ability to work varied day and night shifts.
Willingness to provide holiday coverage.
Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
Ability to assist with lifting, turning, transferring, and repositioning residents.
Commitment to resident safety, confidentiality, and quality care.
