Director of Nursing (DON)

Base Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually + monthly incentive potential of $8,000–$10,000

Your Impact
As Director of Nursing, you’ll partner with the Executive Director and department leaders to guide clinical operations and create an environment where residents and staff can thrive.
You’ll focus on:
Clinical excellence: Oversee nursing services to support safe, individualized, resident-centered care.
Team development: Recruit, coach, and retain nursing staff while building confidence and accountability.
Quality improvement: Use clinical outcomes and trends to identify opportunities and drive lasting improvements.
Survey readiness: Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and build consistent daily practices.
Staffing and resources: Align staffing with resident needs and support effective scheduling and resource management.
Communication: Build strong relationships with residents, families, providers, and the interdisciplinary team.
Culture: Be a visible, approachable leader who follows through, recognizes great work, and helps others grow.
What You Bring
An active Nebraska RN license or a valid multistate RN license authorizing practice in Nebraska.
Nursing leadership experience; Director of Nursing experience in skilled nursing is preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and knowledge of skilled nursing regulations.
The ability to coach staff, manage competing priorities, and lead through challenges.
A commitment to resident dignity, quality care, and employee development.
Compensation
$110,000–$130,000 annual base salary
Monthly incentive potential of $8,000–$10,000, subject to incentive plan terms and performance requirements
