Travel CNA – Long Term Care | 3x12 Days | $1,368/Week | Kimball, NE
Looking for your next travel assignment? We have 2 openings for a 13-week day-shift contract at a 49-bed long-term care facility in Nebraska’s panhandle, with a well-staffed team and three 12-hour shifts a week.
Pay:
$38/hr total: $16.00/hr W-2 plus a $22.00/hr tax-free stipend based on GSA rates, about $1,368/week
Travelers must have a permanent residence more than 2 hours from Kimball
The facility requires travelers to find lodging in Kimball

Three 12-hour shifts a week, with four days off
Strong daily staffing: a charge nurse, 2 med aides, 2 bath aides, and 3–4 CNAs on days

Schedule:
Day shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (3x12)

What you’ll do:
Assist residents with activities of daily living according to their care plan, including bathing, feeding, turning, and repositioning
Take and report vital signs and weights
Observe residents and report changes in condition to the licensed nurse
Complete required documentation in MatrixCare
What you need:
Active Nebraska CNA certification, listed on the Nebraska Nurse Aide Registry, in hand at the time you apply
1+ year of long-term care or skilled nursing experience within the last 2 years
Permanent residence more than 2 hours from Kimball
Ability to pass a background check and facility health screenings
Nice to have:
MatrixCare charting experience
Good to know:
Census averages around 41 residents
Clean, professional scrubs required (plain t-shirts are OK; no graphic tees)
