We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic healthcare team through Quick2Hire staffing agency. Shift and Schedule
- Variable day shifts
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No weekends or holidays required
Requirements and Skills
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license and credentials
- Proven experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient advocacy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, and swallowing functions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as needed
- Record and maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with professional standards and organizational policies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families regarding communication disorders and therapy approaches
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented approach
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude
