Requirements & Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Experience working in an Emergency Room (ER) setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients presenting in the emergency department to determine a plan of care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician
- Collaborate closely with physicians, healthcare providers, and support staff to ensure timely and effective patient care
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide critical interventions
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in medical records
- Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
- Minimum of 1-2 years Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical skills combined with sound judgment and decision-making abilities
- Commitment to compassionate patient care and continuous professional growth
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $61.00 - $72.00
