- Patient ratio experience: 1:1
- Travel experience: Yes
- Certifications: BLS
- Charting system: Preferred (Epic)
Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric speech-language therapy across diagnoses including autism, birth defects, developmental delays, fluency, language disorders, and mental, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental disorders
- Support voice and dysphasia management with oral motor interventions
- Deliver and document assessment, evaluation, and concurrent therapy/treatment
- Complete SLP evaluation coding and maintain accurate billing/documentation records
- Use alternative communication devices and provide augmentative communication support as needed
- Utilize evaluation tools including CELF (Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals) and PLS-4 (Preschool Language Scale)
- Provide patient and family education to support care plans
- Recognize and respond to signs & symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse according to safety protocols
