Overview
Colonial Acres Nursing Home is seeking a driven, committed nurse to join our dynamic team as the Assistant Director of Nursing. Must possess current LPN or RN license in good standing.
Duties
Main responsibilities include completion of timely and proficient MDS and resident care plans, and ownership of the facility's Infection Control and Wound Care programs. This is a multi-faceted job, perfect for an RN who are looking for a flexible and versatile work load. This position is considered part of the leadership team as this individual is critical for helping shape the culture and standards of the facility.
Skills
Strong background in nursing administration and nurse management preferred.
Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective communication skills.
In-depth understanding of resident rights and advocacy within a nursing home setting.
Familiarity with MDS processes and medical record management preferred.
Ability to analyze complex situations, make informed decisions, and implement solutions effectively.
