Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT imaging procedures and ensure comfort and safety throughout the exam.
- Operate CT equipment to acquire high-quality images according to established protocols.
- Verify patient information, order details, and imaging requirements prior to scanning.
- Maintain radiation safety practices and adhere to department policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team to support smooth workflow.
- Perform routine equipment checks and assist with maintaining imaging readiness.
Requirements
- ARRT certification or equivalent credentialing for CT/Radiologic Technology (as applicable)
- Active state licensure/eligibility to work as a CT Technologist in South Dakota (as applicable)
- Basic computer skills for documentation and imaging workflows
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with patient positioning for imaging
