Join our team as a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Anchorage, AK. Work Day shifts (4x10 hours) with guaranteed hours and hands-on support across a wide range of cardiac and interventional procedures.

  • Guaranteed hours per week: 36

  • Pay: $69.00–$81.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Accurate monitoring during procedures
  • Perform EKG lead placement (required)
  • Scrub duties while maintaining a sterile field
  • Support abdominal and pelvic procedures, including angioplasty (required), chest tube placement (required), embolization (required), ERCP (required), gastrostomy tube placement (required), inferior vena cava (IVC) filter placement (required), liver biopsy (required), paracentesis (required), radio embolization (required), stent placement (required), thoracentesis (required)
  • Support vascular studies/procedures including angioplasty, carotid stenting, dialysis graft creation/revision, dialysis graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), endovascular interventions, TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt), and upper/lower extremity angiography
  • Support electrophysiology (EP) studies including arrhythmia induction (required), baseline measurements (required), cardiac ablation (required), cardiac mapping (required), cardioversion (required), conduction studies (required), electrophysiology evaluation (required), insertion/programming of AICDs (required), left atrial appendage (LAA) closure (required), pacemaker insertion (required), and tilt table study (required)
  • Support cardiac cath lab procedures including ASD closures (required), cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations pediatric/neonatal (required), hemodynamic monitoring, Impella insertion (required), left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), right heart catheterization, rotablator atherectomy, temporary pacemaker (required), and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) (required)
  • Support neurological studies/procedures including carotid angiography, discogram, embolization, stent placement, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and vertebroplasty
  • Support genitourinary studies/procedures including catheter/drain exchange (required), cystoscopy (required), embolization (required), gastrostomy (required), nephrostomy (required), percutaneous stone extraction (required), renal artery stent placement (required), and ureteral stent placement (required)
  • Work across diagnostic cardiac cath lab, electrophysiology (EP) lab, interventional cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, and special procedures (required)
  • Maintain infection control using sterile technique
  • Perform coil embolization (required)

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Certifications: ARRT or RCIS (and/or ARRT R, B, C, or equivalent as indicated), CCI RCIS
  • Experience with sterile technique
