We are actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology / Cardiology professional to join our team at the Providence Imaging Center. Shift / Schedule
- Day Shift: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5 days per week, 8-hour shifts)
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in radiology or cardiology imaging
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
- Willingness and experience to travel as part of the role
- Certifications required: ARRT Mammography (M), ARRT Radiography (R), and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience performing and interpreting the following procedures:
- 3-D Mammography
- Diagnostic Mammograms
- Digital Mammography
- Screening Mammograms
- Proficiency with Hologic 3D imaging equipment
- Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
- Strong knowledge and adherence to:
- Isolation Precautions and PPE protocols
- Radiation Safety standards
- Universal Precautions and Core Measures
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and accurately perform 3-D mammography, diagnostic, digital, and screening mammograms using Hologic 3D equipment
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures
- Maintain precise, timely, and thorough documentation in Epic electronic health records
- Adhere strictly to radiation safety and infection control protocols, including isolation precautions and PPE procedures
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment and reporting malfunctions to technical support
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding mammography procedures
- Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications
- Valid ARRT certifications in Mammography and Radiography
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proven experience with Epic electronic charting system
- Demonstrated competency in mammography procedures and radiation safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as required by role assignments
