Waybridge Clinics specializes in outpatient interventional psychiatry treatments, including IV ketamine therapy, Spravato (esketamine), TMS, and comprehensive psychiatric care for patients struggling with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Position Overview:
We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide flexible weekday, evening,, and/or weekend coverage to support our clinical operations in Omaha, with preference currently for weekday. The ideal candidate is comfortable or eager to learn IV ketamine and Spravato administration and monitoring. As we expand our services, you may also assist with TMS treatments under the supervision of our APRN Clinical Director. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to be part of a patient-focused team delivering innovative mental health treatments.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with patient preparation, including IV placement, infusion initiation, monitoring, and documentation during ketamine treatments.
Monitor patient vital signs and comfort closely throughout the treatment process.
Administer Spravato (esketamine nasal spray) in compliance with REMS protocols under clinical supervision.
Document patient assessments, procedures, and treatment outcomes accurately in our electronic medical record system.
Provide patient education, answering questions about treatment procedures, expectations, and safety.
Maintain a calm, compassionate clinical environment, supporting patients and family members before, during, and after treatments.
Collaborate with our clinical team, maintaining rigorous standards for patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted Nebraska RN license.
At least 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience, ideally in acute care, infusion centers, psychiatric settings, or similar healthcare environments.
Experience with IV infusion therapy is preferred but not required; training on ketamine and Spravato protocols will be provided.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications strongly preferred.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to clinical needs in a calm and efficient manner.
