About Us:
We are a growing Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in ophthalmology, pain management, and pediatric dental procedures. Our dedicated team is committed to providing exceptional, compassionate care in a safe and efficient outpatient environment.
We’re looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and provide essential support to our nurses and surgical staff. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and wants to contribute to high-quality patient care across a variety of specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist nursing staff with pre-operative patient preparation (vital signs, patient comfort measures, gowning, etc.)
Support post-operative recovery by monitoring and assisting patients under RN supervision
Assist surgical technicians with instrument sterilization (training provided)
Help maintain cleanliness and organization in pre-op, PACU, and procedure areas
Stock and prepare supplies, equipment, and patient rooms to ensure readiness for daily procedures
Provide comfort and reassurance to patients and families, including pediatric and elderly populations
Assist with patient transport, positioning, and discharge processes
Perform clerical or communication support tasks such as answering phones, relaying messages, and assisting with patient flow
Assist with pre-op and post-op data collection
Assist with chart preparation
Collaborate closely with nurses and other team members to ensure safe, efficient patient care
Qualifications:
Current CNA certification (State of Wisconsin)
Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
Previous experience in a surgical, outpatient, or hospital setting preferred but not required
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate, reliable, and able to maintain professionalism in a busy environment
