About This Position
As a Medication Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing support to healthcare professionals and ensuring the well-being of patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient care, recording vital signs, offering caregiving support, maintaining medical documentation, and aiding in medical procedures. This position involves working with the elderly. Food preparation and serving will be required.
Essential Duties:
Administer oral medications such as capsules, tablets, liquids and topical medications such as eye drops, ear drops, nose drops, ointments, and other skin preparations, and rectal suppositories.
Takes and records vital signs. Records and reports any observations and changes in resident’s condition to the charge nurse.
