Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 annually, plus bonus (DOE)

Rancho Bellagio Post Acute is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team and oversee all nursing operations. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of clinical excellence and teamwork.

Position Summary
The Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all nursing services within the facility. The DON will work closely with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of resident care, quality outcomes, staff development, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and oversee all nursing operations and clinical services.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Title 22 and CMS guidelines.
Lead, mentor, and develop nursing management and clinical staff.
Drive quality improvement initiatives and clinical outcomes.
Manage staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and retention strategies for nursing personnel.
Monitor resident care plans and coordinate interdisciplinary care delivery.
Oversee infection prevention, risk management, and resident safety programs.
Prepare for and successfully navigate state surveys and audits.
Collaborate with physicians, consultants, residents, families, and facility leadership.
Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation effectively.
Qualifications
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing, post-acute, or long-term care setting.
Prior Director of Nursing experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and California healthcare regulations.
Proven success in clinical operations, staff development, and quality improvement.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
