Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment. The RN will provide direct patient care in a 24/7 Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process and established standards of practice to care for acutely and critically ill patients.
Responsibilities
Assess and triage patients based on history, physical assessment, and chief complaint.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to acutely and critically ill patients.
Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and other prescribed treatments.
Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Initiate patient education plans as directed.
Clean, dress, and bandage wounds.
Manage multiple urgent tasks while maintaining professionalism.
Accurately document patient care and treatment.
Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
Complete required orientation.
Respect cultural traditions and practices.
Maintain HIPAA compliance.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program with an Associate, Bachelor's, or higher-level nursing degree/diploma.
Current, active, unrestricted RN license.
Passed the NCLEX.
Minimum 3 years of professional nursing experience.
Emergency Room experience preferred.
Current or willing to obtain:
ACLS
BLS/CPR
PALS
TNCC
NRP
CPI

Holiday Coverage: Required
State License: Must be currently active
Bilingual: No
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication, critical thinking, reasoning, and clinical assessment skills required.
Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to lift up to 20–50 lbs and assist with patient transfers.
Position requires extended periods of standing, walking, and sitting, along with fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
Pay: From $4,330.20 per week
