About This Position
Registered Nurse Home Health/Hospice
PRN (Variable hours; no call required)
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to provide direct clinical nursing services in patients homes, residences, or care facilities. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating services across the healthcare continuum.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care including, but not limited to:
IV therapy and venipuncture
Wound care and wound vacuum management
Hospice care services
Coordinate care among physicians, facilities, patients/families, and rehabilitation services
Participate in a rotating weekday and weekend on-call schedule (FT/PT positions)
Deliver care independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the healthcare team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic systems
Qualifications:
Current Nebraska Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Previous nursing experience required
Home health and/or hospice experience preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and customer service skills
Proficient computer skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required
