About This Position
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient assessments, administering medications, and rooming patients. Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as phlebotomy as needed
- Obtain patients' vital signs, history, medication recoucilation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
-Refill medications as needed
-Prep charts and obtain medical records as needed prior to patient visits.
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in Nebraska.
- Proven experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting
- Excellent clinical skills, including patient assessment and medication administration
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
