Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant / Personal Care Worker to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in assisted living facilities. As a Nursing Assistant / Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting with their daily activities and healthcare needs.
Responsibilities
Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and meal preparation.
Housekeeping and Laundry as needed
Monitoring and recording vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Administering medications as prescribed and ensuring adherence to care plans.
Supporting patients with mobility and physical exercises to enhance their well-being.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
Documenting patient progress and reporting any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Certification as a Nursing Assistant is plus but not a mandatory qualification, we offer PCW training onsite.
Experience in home health care or long-term care settings is an advantage.
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring is preferred, but onsite training and certifications is available.
Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent senior care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
