We serve over 10,000 people each year with psychiatric and behavioral health care outpatient services, counseling, training, employment assistance, housing support, homeless outreach, children's mental health care and more.

Program Specialist V - Salary/Exempt: $67,104.59
Full-Time, 40 Hour Work Week, Paid Bi-weekly
General Description
The Educational Resource Clinician with the Behavioral Health Partnership Program (BHPP) is a mental health professional that will serve as a mental health and substance use resource for school districts located in the region served by Education Service Center (ESC) Region 2. Responsible for increasing awareness and understanding of mental health and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Assisting school personnel with implementing initiatives regarding these areas and ensuring local school personnel are aware of recommended best practice-based programs and other resources in the community. Facilitate trainings regarding effects of grief and trauma, substance use and abuse, intervention and prevention, and Mental Health First Aid. Must be available to deliver trainings on weekends if needed. Position will be housed at ESC 2.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum: (Program Speicialist II) Master's degree from an accredited college or university. must be licensed by the State of Texas as a LPC-A, LCSW-I or LMFT-A by the state of Texas.
Preferred: (Program Specialist V) Master's degree from an accredited college or university. Must be licensed as a LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist or Registered Nurse with degree in Psychiatric Nursing by the State of Texas.
May use personal vehicle to conduct business. Must have a valid Texas driver's license at all times, liability insurance and a good driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to set priorities and work with a high degree of autonomy
Comfortable with public speaking to small, medium and large groups (in person and virtually)
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others
Communicate effectively
Ability to create a variety of creative training techniques suitable for diverse audiences
Able to assess and problem solve
Strategic planning skills
Possess strong Microsoft Office skills such as creating presentations, graphs, charts and variety of training material
