About This Position

Full-time caregiving role with guaranteed hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed with 60 hours/week of availability

Pay range: $19.00-$22.00/hr depending on experience; $760-$880/week at 40 hours before taxes

Omaha Metro service area: Client homes across Omaha and surrounding communities

Best suited for experienced, reliable caregivers: Ideal for care professionals who are confident supporting different clients, care needs, and home environments

Experience or credential required: 5+ years of professional caregiving experience, non-family, OR active CNA, HHA, LPN, or RN credential

Are you an experienced caregiver, CNA, or HHA who wants steady full-time work and takes pride in providing reliable, high-quality care? Home Instead is hiring a Care Pro Lead to support older adults in their homes across the Omaha Metro area.

At Home Instead, our mission is to make life better for older adults and the caregivers who support them. This full-time role is designed for calm, dependable care professionals who are comfortable supporting a variety of clients, helping with new client starts, and stepping in when urgent coverage is needed.

What You’ll Do

Provide compassionate, professional care to older adults in their homes

Assist with personal care, mobility, transfers, companionship, meals, and daily routines

Support clients with dementia care and end-of-life care needs

Help with new client starts to create a smooth and positive care experience

Step in for urgent or last-minute shift coverage to help prevent gaps in care

Review care plans and visit notes to understand each client’s needs and preferences

Communicate professionally with clients, families, office staff, and other caregivers

Provide hands-on support, guidance, and encouragement to other caregivers when needed

Required Experience & Qualifications

5+ years of professional caregiving experience, non-family, OR active CNA, HHA, LPN, or RN credential

Experience with personal care, transfers, dementia care, and end-of-life support

Calm, confident, and professional approach in changing or challenging care situations

Strong communication skills with clients, families, office staff, and fellow caregivers

Comfortable supporting and guiding other caregivers when needed

Comfortable using a smartphone app for scheduling and care documentation

Basic English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills

Schedule, Travel & Requirements

Must be available for 60 hours per week to qualify for guaranteed 40 full-time hours

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 60 minutes to client homes

Comfortable working in different Omaha Metro home environments, including houses, apartments, townhomes, senior communities, homes with pets, and smoking environments

Ability to accept shifts on short notice when needed

Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including assisting with mobility, transfers, and personal care

Must pass background check, drug screening, and required assessments

Pay & Benefits

$19.00-$22.00/hr, depending on experience

$760-$880/week before taxes at 40 hours per week

Work Area
This role supports clients in homes across the Omaha Metro area, including Omaha and surrounding communities. Because client homes may be spread across the area, this position requires reliable transportation, flexibility, and comfort planning travel between assignments when needed.

Because client needs can change quickly, this position requires professionalism, dependability, and a strong commitment to high-quality senior care.
