Location: 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
FTE Status: Full-Time 0.90 FTE (36 hours/week)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday starting between 5:15 am - 8:00 am with calls (6-9 weekends/year, 2-3 weekdays/month, and 1 holiday/year)

Job Description:
Encouraged Surgical Tech, GI Tech, LPN, and CNA to apply!
Responsible for quality care of gastroenterology patients. Maintains a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsible for setting up gastrointestinal (GI) cases along with cleaning and high level disinfection of endoscopes and accessories. Assists and informs physicians of relevant information. Demonstrates competency, efficiency, and leadership in performing gastrointestinal procedures and in applying new technology. Maintains patient treatment area with a coordinated, efficient schedule and team for emergent and scheduled procedures.
Qualifications:
Completion of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associate Program within six months of starting in the Gastroenterology Technician role required.
Applicable certification/registration/licensure dependent on requirements in hiring.
Completion of nursing assistant certification or surgical technician degree within one year of starting in the gastroenterology technician role preferred.
Two years of experience in a health care related field or procedural area preferred.
MUST BE WITHIN A 30-MINUTE RADIUS OF THE HOSPTIAL FOR CALLS.
